Not seeing a meetup in your area? Feel free to host one! Here’s how:
- Check out locations. Most Underdog hangouts are held in coffee shops, at cons, restaurants, etc. Be sure the venue has enough space for your group – sometimes if you call ahead, the venue will make sure to accommodate you.
- Use Facebook Events, Eventbrite, or any event-managing site of your choice to help organize your hangout.
- Contact Marisa so that she can add your event to the calendar.
- Promote! We spread the word about meetups as much as we can, but please help us by inviting your friends to the event, tweeting, posting, and shouting from the rooftops!
- Share your meetup with us! With your group’s permission, snaps pics during the hangout and tweet them with a #ComicUnderdogMeetup tag.
